Spent the morning hiking 5 miles up to Laguna Esmeralda in Patagonia. Didn't get too many good pics as it was raining and at one point sleeting while I was up there but was able to get a few neat pics from the hike.

Well it’s a bit overdue but a much welcome upgrade. Can’t wait to play around with this new camera.

Just a couple of old iron brutes in John Deere Clothes with some V8 Detroit Diesel Power. Caught these 2 flexing their muscle last fall at the Half Century of Progress show.

Had another great year showing my photography at Rock Island county fair and got Best of Show with my Winter/Ice Landscape. I truly am thankful for all the support and enjoyed looking at everyone elses pics and hardwork throughout the year and enjoy the constructive criticism.

Been working on a few pics and thought I would share this one. I had this idea in my head while at the WWI museum of making this a realistic period style B&W pic from a soldier in the trench 1st person view. and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I will post a pic of it I took of it on my phone so you can see what it started like. You had to look thru a tiny square hole and it was super dark so I had to long expose them and was worried they may end with blurring because of the time required for the shutter to stay open to collect enough light without moving but I don't think I did too bad.

A few quick shots I got today of the F22 Raptor and a neat pic of a 1st generation fighter plane P51 mustang meeting the 5th gen Fighter Jet F22 Raptor. I'll be posting more from the airshow shortly
