5 Star Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“We found Marcus and Hannah through an Instagram ad, and from the moment I saw their work, I was immediately drawn to the way they capture not only the couple, but also the beauty and emotion of the nature surrounding them.

My husband and I decided to book a call with them, and they were actually the only photographers we ever spoke with. From that very first conversation, we just knew. You know that gut feeling when something simply feels right? That was exactly how we felt about Marcus and Hannah.

They have such a special way of understanding your vision, your personality, and the kind of experience you want to create. We didn’t feel the need to keep searching or meet with anyone else — we knew we wanted them to be part of our day.

There are truly no words to describe how happy we are that we chose them for our elopement in Alaska. They helped us plan everything and made the entire experience feel easy, exciting, and so personal.

And the photos and videos? ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. They captured our day, the landscape, and all the little emotions and moments in a way that takes us right back to Alaska every time we look at them.

If you’re considering booking Marcus and Hannah, DO IT! I wouldn’t think twice. They are talented, professional, responsible, and genuinely wonderful people to have by your side for such an important day.

Choosing them was one of the best decisions we made for our elopement, and we will forever be grateful for the memories they captured for us.”

Nick + Cassie instantly knew they wanted to elope in Glacier National Park. Cassie has visited Glacier many times and loved all the mountainous adventures.

Nick however had never been to Glacier. So they were extremely excited to experience it together.

They booked us for a 2 day adventure so we could go on multiple hikes together over the couple days to a variety of locations.

Day 1 started off early hiking in the dark before sunrise to one of the most stunning views in the park. They changed in the dark at the top, and shortly after shared a first look.

During their first look we had a beautiful sunrise and a mountain goat even paid a visit. It was pretty special.

After roaming around capturing photos in the wildflowers we headed back down. Along the way we came across a young grizzly and captured some nice photos and video as he passed along the trail.

We were excited to say the least! What a moment.

Their ceremony took place at Avalanche Creek. They had me say a prayer for them and then they shared their vows. Hannah and I love connecting with Christian couples! It’s so special.

After taking a mid day break, we met back up for a sunset adventure to Avalanche Lake. The pure excitement from them mixed with the dramatic mountains was magical.

We had fun exploring the rocky beach, running in the sand, and taking in the views.

Day 2 began with a hike to a waterfall where we embraced the heavy mist getting blown at us. I don’t know how to explain it but there’s always something that excites me about an epic waterfall.

I used my landscape photography skills to create a photo I’m really excited to share in the future. (Haven’t edited it yet)

Then we ended their second day with a dramatic sunset at Big Bend. The valley was filled with purple flowers from the fireweed.

We had such an incredible time exploring the park with Nick and Cassie. The pure joy and excitement they shared was contagious.

Thank you both so much for trusting Destination & Minnesota Wedding Videographer and I to plan and capture your elopement days!

When I first met with Danielle about their elopement, they were back and forth on eloping in Washington or Lake Tahoe.

As you can see they decided on Lake Tahoe. One thing they wanted was to avoid the busy crowds however as Lake Tahoe gets crazy in the summer.

I started to research locations and eventually found this beach that is insanely beautiful but less popular as it requires a short hike.

We woke up early in the morning to arrive for sunrise. We got blessed with beautiful soft light in the morning as we explored around on the rocks and sand.

Eventually the sun slowly peaked out and lit them up beautifully along with the landscape. It was such a magical moment.

The best part was we didn’t see a single person during the 3 hours we explored the two beaches. It was perfect!

We then hiked back up through the redwoods taking a few photos along the way and headed off to our next spot.

We went to the Truckee Tunnels and captured photos that had a very ethereal vibe. The lighting was so fun to play with!

After our morning shoot, we met back up for sunset exploring more of Donner Pass and eventually ended at her family’s cabin.

One of my favorite parts is when Danielle went out on the paddleboard in her dress. The lighting was so stunning and her dress was perfect for the moment.

To end the first day we got spoiled with the most vibrant sunset. It was the perfect way to end their day filled with adventure.

The next day they had their official ceremony with their family at the cabin.

It was a nice intimate setting and a slower pace from the day before. The joy and laughter everyone shared was beautiful to capture.

I’m so thankful that I get to help plan and photograph core memories for every one of my couples. It’s such a blessing.

Thank you Danielle + Vishnu for the fun adventures and conversations. Congratulations on your wedding!

Patrick and Moira were blessed with the most dramatic lighting during their Glacier National Park elopement.

I talk about flexibility a lot for elopements. Their day was the perfect example.

We originally planned for sunrise but storms moved in overnight so we changed it to sunset when the skies would be better.

Conditions on each side of Logan Pass varied so we started at Sun Point where the weather looked better earlier.

The lighting was dramatic with clouds wrapping around the mountain peaks. Gusting wind added tons of drama into the photos blowing Moira’s veil, dress, and wind around.

If you know me I’m a sucker for a windy moody mountain shoot! I love the drama!

After exploring Sun Point, we originally planned to explore a hike into one of my favorite locations but the clouds were covering the area with no visibility.

So we adjusted to Big Bend as I knew it would be visible and stunning.

The sun popped in and out on the mountain peaks while we explored the area capturing photos on the rocks and in the fireweed flowers.

It was nothing short of magical!

They absolutely crushed the photos and I couldn’t get over their outfits! Patrick’s green suit was a unique color and looked amazing. Moira’s flowy dress, long veil with a shorter face covering, and optional sleeves were all so unique.

It was so fun getting creative with everything.

Both them and Glacier put on a show that night. I was beyond excited to capture and edit all their photos + sneak peeks.

Congrats Patrick + Moira on your elopement. It was so amazing getting to know you both. Thanks for the awesome adventure and trusting me to be flexible with everything.

A stunning sunrise for Conor + Emily’s Grand Teton elopement day.

Something special about their elopement day was the deep roots Emily’s family has in the park. Her dad guided raft and fishing tours here for many years.

Her grandpa also had many ties to the park and is buried at the Chapel of Transfiguration in the park. We got to visit his grave site after their ceremony which was so special.

It was so cool that they could continue the deep ties to the Tetons by getting married here. It’s also home to one of their favorite hikes they’ve done together.

I love hearing about the connection people have to certain places and the deep meaning behind it.

The most epic hiking elopement location in Alaska!

I’ve hiked all over the world and this is definitely one of the best hikes I’ve ever done. There’s two stunning blue lakes surrounded by the most rugged mountain peaks.

It’s an absolute playground!

• custom location guides
• activity ideas
• an elopement guide
• timeline creation

Childhood dream captured in Alaska this past week.

Hannah and I took a few days after our elopements to explore Alaska for personal travel but also to scout out potential locations and activities for future elopements.

One of our favorite experiences was the whale watching tour with Seward Ocean Excursions. Our captain Andrew was incredible!

He asked what we wanted to see and my only request was killer whales. He delivered!

He said they usually see them every ten days on average so we got really spoiled. They were so active on the surface so we got multiple photo chances and these were some of my favorites.

We also saw 5 humpback whales including a cow and calf splashing their tails with a mountain backdrop.

Puffins and many other birds were everywhere begging for photos.

To end the trip we came across 2 adult humpback whales waving their pectoral fins and tail slapping the water. They were putting on a show.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend considering a whale watching tour with Seward Ocean Excursions for your elopement, honeymoon, or vacation.

Corina + Charles dreamy glacier elopement!

When I first met Corina + Charles they were originally talking about eloping in Olympic National Park. After a few life occurrences those plans changed.

Corina is an author and published a poetry book! So amazing! Her book tour brought her to Alaska and they thought, hey why don’t we get married while we’re there.

They also are huge national park lovers. So they decided to get married in Wrangells-St. Elias National Park. Fun fact it’s the largest national park in the US.

It’s a very remote and backcountry location which was amazing. The mountains are so grand here and it is home to tons of glaciers.

They got married on the Root Glacier which can be accessed by foot, and it’s one of the few glaciers you don’t need a guide to explore.

We adventures all over the glacier exploring the beautiful glacial pool, ice field, and ice walls. It was pure magic.

They couldn’t stop laughing, smiling, and being overfilled with our joy. Many times they stated how it all felt unreal, and it felt like they were on another planet.

They share such a special connection with each other and documenting that as they exchanged their vows was beautiful.

Congrats Corina + Charles on your dream Alaska elopement. Hannah and I are so thankful for all of our time spent together getting to know you both so much more!

Enjoy your honeymoon in Alaska!

All I can say is WOW!!! Steve and Maria had an epic vision for their elopement day. They were open on a location when we first met and I included Alaska into their custom location guide.

After discussing ideas, they chose Alaska. We began planning and landed on hiking out to one of the most epic alpine lakes along with a helicopter flight with Outbound Heli Adventures to some breathtaking glacier scenes.

The weather was in and out with rain but Steve and Maria stayed flexible and we completely changed our hiking time to start 9 hours earlier than planned.

This was perfect because we had the most stunning weather for the alpine lakes with moody skies and soft lighting. The blues were vibrant.

Their first look was so perfect and even though it was cold, Maria braved the weather as we ran around capturing tons of dream photos.

They were both so in awe of each other and the scenery around them.

Then the next day we hung out at the Airbnb for getting ready photos. They also cuddled up and read letters from family + friends to start their day. The details and heartfelt words put into the letter book was so special.

We ended their elopement in the most Alaskan way! We gave our pilot some ideas for landings, a glacial pool with an ice wall and a mountain overlooking the glaciers, and he delivered!

We had their ceremony on our first landing in front of the ice wall followed by photos around the glacial pools. Then our pilot hooked us up with a sick flyover before we left.

Steve and Maria braced each other tight while enjoying such a surreal moment together.

The final landing was wild and beautiful. Wildflowers covered the lust green mountain, the wind was whipping, and the views were unreal. Steve and Maria ran around the mountain top enjoying their final moments of their day as we captured photos and video.

They both couldn’t stop smiling the entire time as they soaked it all in! What an EPIC elopement in Alaska.

Congrats Steve and Maria and thank you so much for trusting Destination & Minnesota Wedding Videographer and I to help plan and capture your dream wedding!
