Ramble Recap | Gallery 1 of 2
My first experience at The Ramble Festival last weekend was among the very best community music experiences I can remember enjoying.
The warm welcome from the Vibe Tribe, the genuine friendliness of staff and volunteers, and the sense of community and companionship really makes everyone feel like they belong there. From security to artists, everyone was there for each other.
The logistics seemed flawless—getting in and out was seamless, amentities were well prepared and abundant, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I didn’t come across an unhappy person during the entire three day event.
Needless to say, the talent lineup is pretty stellar as well—and many of the artists can often be found lounging around the festival all weekend long for a friendly conversation.
Finally getting to meet the fine folks from Heady Wax Fiends was great—I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them digitally over the past several years, so hanging with them and chatting over records at the fest was great.
The late night fireside busker jams really tie all of the above dynamics together in a way that I can’t really depict with words… it’s just something you have to experience for yourself. As festival co-founder Brick Lohr, shared with me, “It’s really a community-centric festival that just so happens to have a pretty great line-up of music.”
Sending a huge thanks to every single person who makes this incredible festival the magic that it is—it truly takes a village. The Ramble filled up my cup and is one I anticipate to make an annual tradition.
Save the date and join the fun next year, Oct. 10-12, 2026!
