There’s something new on the SnapDock Photography website!
Over the past month, I’ve spent more hours than I could possibly count working on a project that started with one simple idea: how can I make planning outfits for family photos easier?
I’m so excited to finally introduce the SnapDock Style Library.
Instead of trying to imagine how different colors, patterns, textures, and outfits might come together, you can now browse real SnapDock families for inspiration and see different approaches to coordinating a family for photos.
Each Style Spotlight takes a closer look at a real family’s wardrobe, including their color palette, coordination, standout pieces, and styling ideas you can borrow for your own session.
You can even combine filters to find exactly what you’re looking for. Planning a fall session but drawn to blue? Select Fall + Blue and the library will narrow it down for you. Find a look you love, open its Style Spotlight, and see more photos from that session to see how the outfits photographed beyond a single image.
And the library is just getting started. I’m launching with a small collection of real families and will continue adding more seasons, palettes, outfit combinations, and styles over time.
One thing I want to make clear: this isn’t a best-dressed list, and families aren’t competing for a spot. It’s intentionally curated to provide different examples that might help another family plan their session.
After two years of photographing families, I wanted to turn what I’ve learned into something genuinely useful for the families who come next. I’m so excited that you can finally explore it.
And for the family photographers who follow me, there’s something else behind the scenes.
The Style Library is one example of what I’ve been building with SnapDock Atlas, a new tool I’ve created for family photographers. Development is wrapping up, and beta testing is next.

The Style Library is live now. Go take a look and tell me which style you’d pull inspiration from for your own family!
