Capturing the moment ✨
The busy season can take a lot out of you. This is it for me and after 25 sessions and a wedding in less than 2 months I can officially say I’ve edited and delivered every gallery so I can dedicate this season to my family.

It’s hard to set boundaries and simply say no to doing something you love but when it’s for the people I love there is no question what matters most.

Here’s to wishing you all a happy holiday season ahead. Thank you again for another wonderful year on laughter, special memories and creativity. This wonderful journey of mine may be coming to an end with other new ventures ahead for me but I’ve enjoyed every single moment 🤍.

📣 Booking Closed for 2024!

If you’ve been with me for years you know this time of year is BUSY! I have decided to close booking for the remainder of the year and enjoy any available time I have from now until 2025 focusing on me and my family.

If you have a session scheduled, I’m looking forward to capturing those memories for you!

Next year may look a little different for this business but I have genuinely enjoyed capturing families grow, newborns get older and businesses thrive over the years. More information to come in 2025!

It’s the LAST DAY of school and no one is happier than a middle school Principal…

…Okay, and maybe all the middle schoolers 😂. It’s been a great year but SUMMER is here and we all get to spend a little more time with our kids before another school year starts.

Virginia is good for one thing…Displaying all seasons in one week! It’s almost June and the evening feels like sweater weather! Tell me what the weather is where you are. It was 52° this morning with a high of 77° which is unseasonably cool!

Going into June I’m excited for all the family and newborns scheduled! I have a few openings left, let me know what I can capture for you!

My heartbeats 🤍.
The reason behind this business is them. As a photographer mama I look back over their lives and think about all the milestones and special moments not captured.

Once I picked up my camera, I vowed to never miss another moment. So here we are documenting 12 & 15! Time waits for no one and I’m here to capture mine and yours 🤍.

It doesn’t matter how old they are, capture the now!

Class of 2024 🌟
As parents it’s hard to believe the time rolls around so fast. We go through life anticipating their first words, their first steps, kindergarten graduation, sports interest and then boom! It happens, the summer between junior and senior year of high school.

This stage of life is hard, we want to soak in every minute knowing the days of dinner as a whole family are numbered. The days of waking up to their Alexa music alarm are numbered. The count down is on to commencement and the tears are just building up.

So if you are in the beginning stages of parenthood, soak up the milestones, they come and go quickly. This young man will be off to soon and I’m sure for his parents it seemed like his first steps were yesterday.

Congratulations 🎉 You’ve made it to the next chapter of your life!

As a child I remember making wishes, and blowing dandelions believing that my wish would come true.

As an adult, blowing a dandelion is like releasing anything that has a hold over you and simply letting the wind carry the seeds away.

Funny how two people are in the same space experiencing one act of blowing a dandelion but the meaning is very different.

This image is a true display of art with the meaning left to the eye of the beholder.

There is something about a big sister 🤍.
These two were the cutest and absolutely LOVED the blossoms blowing in the wind. It’s hard to believe these trees have peeked bloom and summer is near!

Sweet 16 💫
Celebrating birthday milestones is one of my favorite things 🤍. During the session her parents just kept saying time went by so fast.

I often look at my own and see how much they have grown and how fast time has gone by. Teenage years are HARD! I’ve learned and grown alongside them. So many emotions and I feel like I’m holding on to each moment.

Sixteen years of sweetness, snuggles, and endless love.
