Being a home body and sticking around town this weekend? Don’t forget Midland has a wonderful commons area downtown and there will be entertainment ☺️

What a music-packed Labor Day weekend!

Tomorrow, September 1 from 7-9pm, the Kowalski Brothers Polka Band will be performing in the Pedestrian Plaza to start the weekend off strong!

Saturday, September 2 from 6-8pm (NOT 7-9pm), Denise Davis and the Motor City Sensations will be performing. This band is full of masters of blues, Motown, R&B, and more!

Following that on Saturday, September 2 from 9-11pm, we have the return of Leave Those Kids Alone! These teenage prodigies cover classic rock songs written decades before they were born!

It's going to be an incredible weekend in Downtown Midland!

I know it’s been quiet around here this week but that’s because we have been busy welcoming Luke to our family.

Luke is a mini Goldendoodle puppy who we adopted from the Humane Society of Midland County. He’s been settling in well and is the sweetest boy. He’s learning all the best habits from his big brother Tucker (our other sweet Goldendoodle) and maybe some bad ones too like barking at nothing 😂

I'm so excited for neighboring week! In fact, this morning while I was out walking the dog, I was thinking of the ways I could contribute to all of my wonderful neighbors here in Midland.

It's so nice to connect with our community and even let someone know "Hey I see you"❤️

What will you be doing to celebrate neighboring week?

September 24-30 is Neighboring Week! 🏡❤️🏡

The Cultural Awareness Coalition invites the community to participate in Neighboring Week within your neighborhoods, workplaces, parks, recreational groups, coffee shops, places of worship, restaurants, etc!

Inclusive neighboring is the catalyst for building a sense of belonging across Midland County.
