**LIFE UPDATE**

You may have noticed that my website has not recently been updated and my social media has gone stagnant.

For those who have not been informed yet, I am taking a break from Kayla Mackenzie Photography.

This was an extremely hard decision to make. I have loved the clients and now "friends" that I have been able to meet over the past two years. I also love the creativity, happiness, and freedom that photography gives me.

However, life before graduating from Liberty and life after have been completely different. The time I once was able to devote to photography, I no longer possess.

I began to work at a church full-time in August, moved to Nashville, and started a part-time position with a non-profit over the summer. These were unpredictable and life altering circumstances that I did not expect to occur. With all of these changes, I knew that in order to build a healthy life where I am that I would have to sacrifice something.

Though my love for taking pictures is deep, it isn't a secret that owning a photography business is unpredictable and time consuming. I don't think it would be fair to my clients to continue Kayla Mackenzie Photography half heartedly.

Therefore, I am no longer booking sessions.

This is not a goodbye, simply a "see you later" for the next several seasons. I appreciate all the support and love every single person has given me! I can't wait to continue building relationships with those I have met and celebrating your victories with you in new ways. 🎉
