Well, Big Side of Texas FINALS always seem to bring a little extra excitement, and Mother Nature made sure of that today!
As much as we love seeing rain in West Texas, it definitely put a damper on all the incredible track prep our crew worked so hard this week to provide for everyone. They worked night and day to get the track ready and even once the rain hit they were out helping people on and off the track.
Brownlee Racing crew was here and jumped into action and had riders back on the track before you knew it. They battled through flooding conditions and worked tirelessly to keep the riders goingâright up until the rain came down so hard we could barely see across the track!
Tomorrow is a new day, and we'll evaluate conditions in the morning to determine if racing can start. If racing isn't possible, we'll still gather for Rex Brownlee's Bow Ties & Bows Dog Show at 10am under the pavilion and our champions will be crowned and awards presented!
