it's been a while since the last post 🫣, so I'd like to kick it off again with a good one.

Last week I got to have a front row seat in my backyard for the lunar eclipse. 👍

Hello everyone 😊,

I know it's been a while since I posted something, so I will post a few selections from the Midland County Fair 2024.
In this first one, we see some night time photos from the Fair, where I finally took some time and got to freeze the carousel and play with the lights on the other rides. 😊

Hello everyone 😊,

this last Sunday, I had the great opportunity to photograph a nearly 100 year old plane, built in 1926, which is still flying and touring the US with public rides today.

May I introduce to you: the Ford Tri-Motor Plane. It was one of the first passenger planes ever built. With 199 built, only 5 are still in condition to take flight today. This particular plane, that visited Midland, was used in Cuba for a while and even broke in three pieces before and was fully restored.

Of course I had to go on one of the flights in it, and, of course, I couldn't resist to upgrade to take the Co-Pilot seat. 😅👍
And yes, that was well worth it. 😊👍

A big thank you to the Midland Army Air Field Museum, CAF High Sky Wing and EAA - The Spirit of Aviation for the opportunity to not only bring this plane to Midland for people to take a ride in it, but to also let me take pictures of it.

I tried a different editing style to make the some photos look more vintage. Let me know what you all think. 😊
