I’ve been taking Sydney’s pictures since she was a baby, and it’s been such a gift to watch her grow. From her big blue eyes and her sweet lemonade stand to a big heart and a strong presence on the volleyball court, she’s always carried joy and determination with her.

Now headed to Northwood to continue her volleyball journey, Sydney is stepping into her next chapter with strength and grace. We’re so proud and can’t wait to cheer her on.

From R&B playlists and tennis matches to vanilla-anything orders at the coffeehouse, Maria brings her whole self wherever she goes. She dreams of a future in neuroscience, has great taste in concerts (Lady Gaga included), and favors comfort and confidence, usually in baggy fits and grey sweatpants.

Whether she’s heading to Chicago someday or college next year, Maria is clearly curious, driven, and becoming more herself with each step forward. We’re excited to watch where her journey leads.
