I was out to do some night shooting a couple weeks ago out at Beckett Ridge park. I wanted to shoot the event building/house while it was lit up but it was being used so I ended up shooting the reflection in the pond. As I was editing these pictures it came to mind that just as this house casts a reflection in the water, so our beliefs and decisions we make casts reflections into our lives and how things play out if life. Sometimes it seems like we can make all the right decisions and have good beliefs and everything still can seem dark and in disarray. Sometimes we can't see ourselves the one mistake or one bad decision that cast a dark light over the rest. Sometimes it helps to just take a deep breath, take some time out alone and reflect on our lives to gain clarity and refocus so that we can cast a better reflection into life.

Good afternoon,
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. My 9-5 job is finally starting to settle down some so time to start getting back here more regularly. I am searching for the right place to open my own website. I will also start blogging on here once a week. It won't be themed just A picture and some thoughts to go with it. Here are some of my favorite photos from my trip to Hocking Hills. Hocking Hills State Park

I went to Cox Arboretum Metro Park today as well as Twin Creeks Watershed and a lake in Germantown Ohio area. I will post pictures from there soon.

I am wanting to invest in my business and myself. To get what I am wanting/needing I need $3800. Here's what I'm looking for:

I need 38 people who want pictures done. $100 will pay for your session and 5 edited digital photos. Here is how it will work:

If you are interested message me here and I will send you my phone number to call and discuss the type of photos and the time to do the session. (I will be available from 9am to noon Monday thru Thursday depending on how far the place we are shooting is from my security job. Friday and Saturday I will be available from 8pm - 9pm. Sundays if I have no other plans I can set time up to shoot) At the time of the session you will pay me the $100 and give me a USB drive to put your pictures on and I will get you photos to you in no later than 2 weeks so long as we can arrange a time and place for me to bring you the USB back.

My trip to Arkansas went well. I am back home and with a new black and white set. Going back down to Arkansas even though not to my home town, I noticed something. I stayed in a small town called Blytheville. One of the first things I saw when I got there was abandoned buildings. The further I went into Blytheville and over into Osceola and Barfield the more I saw abandoned buildings. It got me thinking having grown up in a small town down in El Dorado. Growing up in these small towns we often feel like there isn't anything there for us. Not enough entertainment or opportunity and sometimes which was part of my case too many bad memories. So when we grow up or get old enough to we leave. We don't think about what happens to these small towns when/if all or the majority of our generation leaves them and they end up at times looking like ghost towns only remaining alive because of a couple good sized, well paying businesses. This is sad to see. I did a black and white photo set of one of the abandoned buildings in Blytheville. I will post a few here and may post more later. Hope everyone has a good day.

I will be heading to Arkansas after work Friday 4-26-24. Hopefully I will get some pictures while there if so I will post a few here. Going down to see my boyfriend while he is down there for work.
