Well today was a step back...Well today was a step back financially for us, since we didn't win the $550million powerball.
Our dog Jeter has been itching non stop for the last few days, as well as our other dog, Piper (who has been itching since we got her). Both dogs have itched themselves raw in places and are leaving trails of blood behind them. After many trips to the vet for both dogs we think we finally have an answer.
It seems that when Piper brought her beautiful self into our lives, she also brought her not-so beautiful Sarcoptic Mange (scabies) with her.
The vet bill today for just Jeter was anything but cheap. Who knew pet meds could be so expensive!? $400 later, Jeter is on his way to an itch-free life. The only problem is now Piper has to go to the vet and be examined to get treated herself (they have different vets) which will be another $300-$400.
Dad is totally stressed out again. With the medical bills piling up faster than we can keep up with, we now have our pet's medical bills to deal with. I'm trying to help him with the pet's bills, but when you only make $200/week you can't do much.
We are so appreciative of all the donations we've received along with the thoughts and prayers.
Every dollar helps. We can use all the help we can get right now.

It's with an incredibly heavy heart that I post this status. Early this morning we lost an incredibly talented musician and all around great guy. Grayson was one of my favorite musicians to photograph. You could see his performance energy in the pictures. Rest in peace Grayson. We will all miss you.
