Kaitlyn Casso Creations Brand Photographer & Strategist helping women feel confident in themselves and their brands. Welcome to Kaitlyn Casso Creations!

As you can tell, my name is Kaitlyn and I am a photographer :). I went to school for Marketing and found myself in the real estate industry soon after graduation. My career in Marketing took me in an unexpected route as I became my company's in-house photographer. Eventually, this led me to the creation of my own photography company where I am able to pursue my passion and dreams. I took my love f

or traveling and appreciation for the outdoors to the next level as I started seeing the world through a photographic lens. I am constantly dreaming about the next spot to travel to or the next epic adventure to take part in. With photography by my side, I only see these dreams growing bigger and bigger. I now find myself bringing the world along with me during my travels while also sharing amazing stories of brands and influencers nationally and internationally. I hope to inspire others to not only travel this beautiful world as much as possible but to also do whatever it takes to follow their dreams. A Full Day brand photoshoot = a LOT of content. 👏🏼

This was my third time working with Violet, founder of IPSP®| 🥇Top-Rated Sleep Consultant Certification and one of my favorite parts of working with clients again and again is that we don’t have to start from scratch.

We already know her brand, what types of photos work well for her, and how she likes to show up. So we can focus on what’s new in her business and what content she needs next.

And there was a LOT happening next. 😂

Violet booked a Full Day, which gave us time for multiple locations, outfits, themes, and SO much variety.

We started at her home with work-from-home lifestyle content in her new kitchen (which I’m obsessed with 😍).

Then we headed to another location, stopped for lunch (and yes, squeezed in a few photos 😉), before finishing at Lifestyle Photography & Podcast Studio in CT with:

✨ Professional working shots
✨ An updated headshot
✨ Negative space photos for graphics
✨ Content for her different offers
✨ Launch photos, including a fake newspaper announcement + “coming soon” content

That’s what I love about a Full Day. We have time to tell more than one story.

We’re not relying on one outfit, location, or type of photo to represent your entire business.

And when I’m planning your brand photoshoot, I’m not only thinking about what will look good.

I’m thinking:

What are you selling?
What are you launching?
What are you talking about?
What’s changing in your business?
And what photos will make all of that easier to market?

The goal is a strategic content library that doesn’t just represent where your brand is today, but supports where it’s going next. ❤️

If your business has grown, your offers have changed, or you’re constantly wishing you had a photo for that thing you’re trying to post about... it might be time for an updated brand photoshoot.

A conversation at a networking event recently got me thinking about this.

We were talking about brand photography, and someone made a comment that essentially implied the women who invest in brand photos must be the type of people who love having their photo taken.

And I immediately thought…

Ohhhh, if you only knew. 😂

I’d say 90–95% of my clients tell me some version of:

“I hate having my photo taken.”
“I feel so awkward in front of the camera.”
“I never know what to do with myself.”
“I’m definitely not a photo person.”

And yet… they book the photoshoot.

Not because they suddenly woke up loving the camera.

Because they understand why showing up matters.

And I think the same thing happens with social media.

The business owner consistently showing her face on Instagram doesn’t necessarily love social media.

The woman talking to the camera isn’t necessarily naturally confident doing it.

The entrepreneur sharing her expertise isn’t necessarily comfortable putting herself out there.

Sometimes she’s doing it because she understands that if she wants people to know about her business, connect with her, trust her expertise, and eventually hire her…

she has to give them the opportunity to know her.

That’s the part I think we forget.

We look at someone who’s doing the thing and assume they’re doing it because it’s easy for them.

But sometimes they’re doing it because they’ve decided their business, their goals, and the people they want to help are more important than staying comfortable.

Visibility isn’t vanity. It’s part of running a business.

✨ You don’t have to love every Reel you make
✨ You don’t have to feel amazing in front of the camera every time
✨ You don’t have to be the person asking your friends to take 100 photos of you at dinner 😂

You just have to recognize that there’s a human being on the other side of your business who needs a reason to know you, trust you, and remember you.

And every time you choose to show up, you’re giving them one. ❤️

You don’t have to love being visible to become more comfortable being seen. You just have to start showing up.

This definition of success hits home for me because, in a way, it’s what I’ve been chasing my entire life.

Ever since I was young, one of my biggest goals was to love what I do every day and love the life I’m creating for myself.

Growing up, I saw people around me who didn’t necessarily love what they did for a “job.” Work was something they had to do, and the parts of life they really enjoyed happened outside of it.

And I remember knowing I wanted something different for myself.

If I was going to spend such a huge part of my life working, I wanted to do everything I could to find something I genuinely loved doing.

Something that fulfilled me.
Something I looked forward to.
Something that allowed me to create a life I loved, too.

I feel incredibly fortunate that I found that in this business.

I get to be creative. I get to work with women who inspire me. I get to help entrepreneurs build brands they’re proud of and become more confident showing up for them.

And somehow, I got to turn all of that into my job.

But I think that’s also why this message resonates so deeply with the work I do with my clients.

Because success gets to look different for every single one of us.

Maybe you want to build a huge company.

Maybe you want to stay a solopreneur.

Maybe you want a booked-out calendar.

Maybe you want fewer clients and more time with your family.

Maybe you want to make more money.

Maybe you want more freedom.

Maybe success right now is finally putting yourself out there, becoming the face of your brand, and allowing more people to see the incredible work you’ve been doing behind the scenes.

None of those versions is more successful than another.

You get to decide what success looks like for you.

And then you get to build your business, your brand, and your life around that.

Because what’s the point of building your dream business if it creates a life you don’t actually want to live? ❤️

One of my favorite ways to plan a brand photoshoot is breaking it down into themes 📸

Because we’re not just showing up with a few outfits and hoping we get enough variety.

We’re thinking about your brand, your business, the content you need, how you’ll use the photos, AND the different sides of you your audience needs to see.

For this team brand photoshoot, we created a few different themes throughout the day:

✨ Professional Working
We started in their most professional outfits with individual headshots, team photos, and polished working shots that could be used across their website, marketing materials, and more.

✨ Casual Working + Behind the Scenes
Then we changed into outfits that were still professional, but a little more relaxed. We captured more behind-the-scenes working moments along with photos, specifically planned for an upcoming event announcement.

✨ The Business Owner
we made sure to carve out time for solo photos of the owner, giving her content to show up as the face and leader of the brand.

✨ Coffee Shop Working
Finally, we headed to a local coffee shop for our most casual theme. Working from coffee shops is something this team genuinely does together, so we wanted photos that captured that real part of their business and personalities.

And you’ll notice something else…

The outfits changed with the themes too.

That’s intentional.

Your wardrobe, location, props, poses, backdrops and the types of photos were creating should all work together to tell the same story

This is why I love planning brand photoshoots around themes. Instead of ending up with 50 variations of essentially the same photo, we create different visual stories within your brand.

And when it’s time to update your website, announce an offer, write an email, post on Instagram, share behind-the-scenes moment, or simply remind people who you are… You have a strategic content library ready for it.

That’s the difference between simply taking professional photos and intentionally planning a brand photo shoot around how you’re actually going to market your business. 🤗

Confidence isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you build. 👏🏼

And one of the best ways to build confidence in showing up as your brand? Actually showing up.

✨ Post the video
✨ Talk on Stories
✨ Share your expertise
✨ Put your face on your website
✨ Let people get to know the person behind the business

Every time you do it, you give yourself a little more proof that you can.

And eventually, the thing that once felt SO uncomfortable starts to feel normal.

If you keep waiting until you feel confident enough to show up online, you could be waiting a long time.

Instead, take the action first and let the confidence catch up. ✨

Action creates confidence.

One of my favorite parts about this business has nothing to do with the camera.

It’s the women I get to meet because of it. 🤗

Every brand questionnaire I read, every planning call I have, and every photoshoot reminds me that there are women out there dedicating their lives to helping other women feel stronger, healthier, more confident, more seen, and more empowered. ❤️

And that inspires me.

Alicia Kay | Intimacy & Libido Advocate is one of those women.

She helps women reconnect with their desire, confidence, and intimacy through honest conversations, modern s*x education, and thoughtfully curated products. But what really stood out to me wasn’t just what she does.

It was why she does it.

She once believed the same things so many women do... that something was wrong with her, that low desire was just “normal,” and that women’s s*xuality was too complicated to understand.

Now she’s changing that narrative.

She’s helping women replace shame with education.
Confusion with confidence.
Silence with honest conversation.

And that’s exactly why I love what I do.

Because I get to help women who are making a difference show up as the professionals they already are.

I truly believe that when women are willing to share their stories, use their voices, and step into their expertise, they give other women permission to do the same.

That’s the ripple effect.

My clients inspire me every single day. ❤️

And getting to help tell their stories through strategic brand photography is something I’ll never stop being grateful for. 🤗

07/30/2026

One of my favorite questions to ask during the brand planning process is:

“What do you want your audience to picture themselves doing?”

When Becky, founder of Becky | Dainty & Gemstone Jewelry , came to me for her next brand photoshoot, she wasn’t just looking for beautiful photos of her handmade jewelry.

She wanted women to see themselves in it.

Not just standing in front of a plain backdrop.

But in real, everyday moments.

✨ Sharing coffee with friends
✨ Laughing over a glass of champagne
✨ Coloring with their kids
✨ Playing together
✨ Making memories
✨ Living life

Because that’s where her jewelry belongs.

It’s not just an accessory.

It’s something women wear while living the moments that matter most.

So instead of only photographing the jewelry, we created an entire story around it.

We brought together multiple women and their children to capture genuine connection, meaningful moments, and the everyday beauty her brand represents.

That’s what strategic brand photography is all about.

It’s not just showing people what you sell.

It’s helping them picture themselves experiencing it.

Because when someone can see themselves in your brand, they’re much more likely to connect with it.

And that’s exactly what Becky wanted to create. ❤️🤗

✨ I don’t always post photos of just myself.

Of course I share my own brand photos, but I also want my work to speak for itself. Seeing my clients’ photos helps you understand what’s possible for your own brand and gives you a glimpse into the experience I create.

✨ I don’t expect my clients to know how to pose

One of the biggest fears I hear is, “I’m awkward in front of the camera.” That’s exactly why I’m there. I’ll guide you through every pose, expression, and movement so you can focus on being present instead of wondering what to do.

✨ I don’t want you to need another brand photoshoot next month.

My goal is to create a strategic content library you can use for months to come. We plan intentionally so you leave with a variety of images that support your website, social media, email marketing, and more.

✨ I don’t chase every marketing trend.

Trends can be fun, but they aren’t a strategy. I believe in creating a marketing plan that’s built around your brand, your strengths, and your ideal clients, not just what’s popular this week.

✨ I don’t create all of my content months in advance.

I love having a plan, but I also leave room for inspiration. Some of my favorite content comes from real client conversations, experiences, and ideas that happen in the moment. I want my content to feel relevant and genuine.

✨ I don’t believe the photoshoot is the finish line.

It’s the beginning. The real magic happens when you start confidently showing up with the photos we’ve created together and building connections with the people you’re meant to serve.

✨ I don’t think confidence comes first.

I think confidence is built through action. Almost every client tells m
