One of the greatest privileges of being a wedding photographer is hearing how couples feel when they relive their wedding day through their gallery.

This review reminded me that photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It’s about preserving emotions, memories, and the moments that matter most.

🌹Some milestones deserve to be remembered.

When her stepmom reached out to me, she wanted to document these final memories of high school before prom and all the new adventures that lie ahead.

When I met this sweet couple, they were understandably a little nervous at first. Most people aren’t used to being in front of a camera, so my goal is always to provide guidance while also giving space for genuine moments to unfold naturally.

We spent a beautiful afternoon in the Lancaster County countryside creating a mix of portraits together and individual portraits for her. The sunshine, open fields, and even the wind seemed to work in our favor, bringing movement and life to every image.

One of my favorite things about photography is preserving seasons of life that pass by so quickly. One day, these photos will be a reminder not only of prom, but of who they were in this moment—full of excitement, possibility, and dreams for the future. 🤍✨
