In the middle of an evening filled with so many plans, I felt God whisper my name to look back and pay attention to what was happening around me.

With all the noise in the heart of Lancaster, PA, I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to hear. But then I saw this group gathered around Lancaster’s public blue piano, singing, playing instruments and worshipping Jesus.

I couldn’t help but stop and watch.

And it was no coincidence that I had my camera with me. I had just finished a content creation photoshoot nearby, so I slowly got closer and silently asked if I could take a few photos.

Thank you, Katie Imchen , for saying yes. 🫶🏼

I stayed there for a while, photographing and listening, and I truly felt the presence of the Holy Spirit there with us.

What a beautiful and unexpected reminder that sometimes God places us exactly where we need to be, even when that wasn’t part of our plans.

May more young adults—and the generations coming after them—have the boldness to step into the streets and openly worship our mighty God.

I would absolutely love the opportunity to join and document more of their ministry, atthetable____

May all glory be given to our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏🏻

Sneak Peeks of The Ribeiros ✨🍾 💍 8.16.26

A little glimpse into this beautiful August wedding.

From the quiet moments of getting ready to celebrating with their favorite people, this day was filled with so many moments I’m excited to continue working on and bringing to life.

And then came the rain... 🌧️

What could have changed our portrait plans ended up being a blessing, giving us the perfect atmosphere for some romantic, cinematic portraits that quickly became some of my favorites from the day.

Sometimes wedding days don’t need everything to go exactly according to plan. We simply embrace what the day gives us and create something beautiful from it.

Just a few sneak peeks for now... so much more to come!

Thank you to everyone who made this possible! Congratulations to the newlyweds! 🥂

This is what happens when a couple stops worrying about the camera and starts experiencing the moment. 😍

From the beginning of our conversations about their engagement session, I gave an explanation of what they could experience in it. However, during the actual engagement session, I noticed the shift.
For them the camera stopped feeling so important.

That’s exactly what I want to give to each one of my couples. I want them to stop wondering what they’re supposed to do next, and they simply start enjoying each other.

Their laughter, their “I’m so in love with you” look at each other, their natural interactions, and the feeling that nothing else matters… just them.

That’s when I get to create some of my favorite images. I truly see photography as creating pieces of art combining my couples memories. Some involve breathtaking landscapes, some are with the perfect sunlight, but most importantly, is their love.

Kasey & Justin, you made that 3-mile hike worth every single step. 🫶🏼 A night to remember!

Wedding days are beautiful, but they are also very human.

We see so much perfection on social media. The perfect dress, perfect hair, perfect flowers, perfect portraits. And of course, every couple hopes everything they’ve spent months—or sometimes years—planning will go exactly as expected.

But real wedding days have imperfect moments too.

Something runs late. The weather doesn’t cooperate. Hair doesn’t turn out exactly as expected. Someone forgets something. Emotions get overwhelming.

And strangely enough, I think it’s sometimes within those moments that some of the most genuine connections are created.

My intention with every wedding is to be as helpful as I can, but what that looks like is going to be completely different for every couple. Sometimes it means helping with the timeline. Sometimes I’m carrying a dress, looking for something that disappeared five minutes before the ceremony, calming someone’s nerves… and sometimes I’m unexpectedly helping a bride with her hair.

Those aren’t things I can promise will happen at every wedding, because every wedding has its own story and its own circumstances. But being present enough to recognize when I can help is something that matters deeply to me.

Maybe that’s one of the things I love most about this career.

Years from now, my brides will have the portraits we created together, but I’ll also have been a tiny part of the memories surrounding those photographs. That’s something I don’t take lightly.

And somehow, after everything happening that morning, we stepped outside into a very hot and humid July afternoon and created these bridal portraits in about 15 minutes.

Her dress was heavy. It was HOT. 😂 But she trusted me, followed my guidance, and absolutely worked through it.

Looking at the final photographs, you’d never know everything that happened before them.

And maybe that’s exactly the point.

A wedding day doesn’t have to be perfect to become a beautiful memory. 🫶🏼

There is something incredibly special about a wedding day built around the people who matter most.

This couple chose to have their wedding ceremony at the bride’s grandparents’ retirement residence in Camp Hill, PA on the fourth of July weekend. They truly wanted them on this special day and knew having it at a traditional wedding venue would have not been the best option for them to attend. On their wedding day, they were surrounded by their closest family members and by cheers from other residents.

Even with the intimate seething of this wedding day, we were able to document getting ready portraits, first look with bride’s dad and her brother, ceremony officiated by the bride’s mother and finishing with romantic bride and groom portraits at the outdoor landscapes of the property.

To all brides and future brides who are seeking an intimate wedding setting in the Central PA area, the small number of guests you may have does not take away from the big moments you will be celebrating on your wedding day. The first time you put on your wedding dress, with your bridal hairstyle and bridal makeup, will not have another first time. The feeling your photos will have, will never fade away.

I want you to rejoice with your future husband, these memories on all of your anniversaries and any ordinary days, but also when your children and grandchildren see them, truly see how special your wedding day was.

Thank you to Audra & Brock for choosing me in this unforgettable elopement filled with genuine love and the people who have shaped them to become who they are now.

Cheers to the newlyweds!!!🎉🍾💍

From the moment Shannon told me how Tom proposed to her at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher in Ireland; I could picture the entire moment like a scene from one of those movies you’d watch over and over again with your best friends during a sleepover—laughing, crying happy tears, and wishing you could experience that kind of love one day.

As we began planning their engagement session, we chose the beautiful grounds of Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. Its peaceful atmosphere, elegant stone architecture, and colorful gardens reminded us of the timeless charm they had experienced during their travels, making it the perfect place to celebrate this new chapter together.

The first part of every engagement session is about so much more than taking photographs. It’s about getting to know each other, helping my couples feel comfortable, and creating a space where they can simply enjoy being together.

Shannon’s royal blue dress made a beautiful statement against the warm stone buildings, while her vibrant red curls added even more personality to every frame. Tom’s classic, understated outfit complemented the look perfectly, allowing their connection to remain the heart of every photograph.

Every couple has a different story, a different rhythm, and a different way they express love. That’s what makes every engagement session unique. My hope is that by the end of our time together, you’ve not only created beautiful photographs but also memories you’ll smile about for years to come.

I’m so grateful Shannon and Tom trusted me with this season of their lives. I can’t wait to stand beside them again on their wedding day and document the beginning of the next chapter in their story.

Cheers to their engagement!! 💍🥂

There are few moments that mean as much to me as delivering a gallery and hearing how much those memories mean to a couple.

Sometimes clients ask if they can leave a tip after their session or wedding, and while that kindness never goes unnoticed, if I had to choose between a tip and a heartfelt review… I would choose the review every single time.

Before you object, hear me out why I say this.

A review doesn’t just encourage me—it helps another couple who may be searching for someone they can trust to document one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

It tells them what it actually felt like to work together.
It shares your experience in a way no advertisement ever could.
It helps a small business like mine continue serving more wonderful couples and families.

If we’ve worked together and you’ve ever wondered how you could support my business beyond your session, your words carry more weight than you probably realize.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories. It truly is an honor.

💛 I’d love to hear from you:
If you’re a small business owner, would you choose a tip or a thoughtful review?

If we’ve worked together, what’s one word that describes your experience?
