It’s been a while! Let’s celebrate some of the amazing couples from this last wedding and engagement season, while I was on my social media hiatus.

Starting off with one of the more recent weddings, we got to document the most beautiful day with our brides, and ! Beautiful details by , so many happy tears, and so much dancing! More winter weddings, please!

On to some housekeeping- while I do plan to continue utilizing these spaces for sharing my work until a viable alternative is given, I am planning on eventually exiting the “M” universe for reasons most people could probably infer. My other brand, already has a presence on the blue butterfly app. I’ll probably be posting all of my work there under Bruja Betty Pin Up for the time being, so please go follow and share!

I'm a big believer that if we all put out our best work, we help our industry as a whole. This is why I'm offering an affordable, hour long Zoom workshop on February 16th, 2024 at 1:00pm with none other than internationally published professional model, Cortney Maylee, Pinup Model!

One of the things that really kills an image for me, is when the pose seems off. Usually this is because the photographer didn't do the "finishing touches" that I usually employ during my sessions, such as making sure the feet and hands are in the position they need to be in, or ensuring their is enough tension in the body where it looks the best. Nothing kills an image for me like a catcher's mitt hand, or a flexed foot, so let me teach you how to be detail oriented in your posing.

In addition to learning how to focus on details, I'll be sharing how I coach my clients into a modeling flow. Clients who are empowered to pose themselves through shots not only make shooting easier, it also ensure you're able to get more unique shots of your clients through their sessions. This technique has consistently helped me upsell more edits after a session is complete.

While we will be shooting mostly pin up and bo***ir posing, because I'll be teaching how to focus on details, these techniques can easily be applied to any session type.

Unfortunately Covid has hit my home for the first time since December 2020. We’re also in the process of moving our sites and some hiccups have occurred. When the universe tells you to slow down, I think it’s time to listen, so I am not going to be answering any work related messages for the next week.
