Becky McKenzie, mesmerized with images at a very young age, tore and collected photos from her mother’s magazines.

She went on to study art and photography in college. It wasn’t until photographing daycare children that she realized how much she enjoyed being behind the camera capturing those timeless moments. Becky uses her experience with children to capture authentic cherished memories of people and pets in her photography. She utilizes the simplicity of shape, the beauty of color, the drama of black and wh

ite and creativity of composition in her styling. When shooting a traditional or documentary portrait, dance, or editorial work she is at ease in the studio or on location, creating photographs infused with humor and sensuality.

I'm hosting the fourth annual “Click or Treat: Boo-tiful Halloween Portraits” event to benefit Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM). The event will take place Friday October 25th from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, and Saturday October 26 from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, at 6225 University Ave, Madison WI. Participants dressed in Halloween costumes will receive a professional digital photograph in exchange for cash or non-perishable food pantry donation. Children, families, adults, and pets are welcome.

High school seniors are such fun to get to know and photograph! Here is a "country boy" who likes working on his truck and driving the tractor. He indulged my desire to have a chicken in a few photos.
