Story time, bare with me.
A few years ago I built a website. Most of you probably haven’t seen it, but it was meant to be a portfolio of my work that is more permanent and meaningful, at least for me. It was also meant to be a platform through which I could maybe, eventually, sell some that work. I have never actually done that.
But a little over a month ago, a great inspiration of mine and so many others, , lost his battle with cancer. Despite never having the fortune of meeting Robb in person, I feel like I knew him — A feeling I know I share with countless other skiers who have been inspired by Robb’s skiing, writing and activism over the last three decades. I recently had the opportunity to work with and get to know Robb’s son, , and brother, , both of whom are legends in their own rite. This and Robb’s passing lit a fire under me to finally develop that print store, with the hope that I could potentially help out a family who have inspired me and so many like me for so long.
SO, click the link in my bio to check out said print store. 100% of the proceeds from prints of this photo of the west shore of Lake Tahoe, Robb’s home and a zone in which he and his family would often ski, will be donated to a GoFundMe set up to benefit the Gaffneys. If you’d like to support that directly, that link is also in my bio.
Apologies for the monologue. Thanks for your support ❤️
