Lauren + Colin Day One - I (Joanna) had to miss the festivities for “Camp Schwarsen,” but looking through the gallery Rhiannon brought back, I almost feel like I was there. And can we just take a moment to appreciate how she completely crushed this coverage while beautifully juggling her half-vendor, half-guest duties? 📸👏

From the customized bucket hats and enamel pin trading station to the lakeside lawn games and late-night s’mores by the roaring bonfire, Lauren and Colin truly threw the ultimate summer camp reunion wedding weekend.

But my favorite moment from the Friday night gallery has to be Scott’s Father of the Bride toast. Complete with a slideshow of “Famous Camping Quotes,” it clearly had the whole room in absolute stitches and I’m not surprised in the slightest. To everyone else, Scott is Lauren’s dad, but to Rhiannon’s son Noah, he is the ultimate master storyteller. Whether he’s spinning wild tales about a troll living under the waterfall by their house in Middlebury, or mapping out fairy gardens during our annual family trips to the Shelburne Museum for the Christmas lights, Scott’s imagination is pure magic.

Seeing him bring that same storytelling gift to his daughter’s wedding weekend just melts my heart.

Sue, Scott, Jen, Lauren, and Colin, we love your family so deeply. Saturday’s wedding day photos are coming soon, but for now, I’m just going to keep smiling at these Friday night camp memories. 🌲🏕️✨

Happy 4th Anniversary, Lauren + Blake!

Four years ago today, we were celebrating these two in the most beautiful, sun-drenched garden wedding at Lauren’s parents’ home in Greensboro, VT. From the quiet morning moments with their pup to signing the Ketubah, saying “I do” surrounded by daylilies, and dancing the night away under the tent, every single detail of this day was pure bliss.
