I had the chance to photograph something dear to my heart last week...my DPT program opened its doors to our first ever pro bono clinic! ❤️🥳

in Montgomery county alone, roughly 37,600 people do not have healthcare insurance. that is only with an uninsurance rate of 4.7%, imagine how many people lack proper care if the national average is 10.6%? physical therapy is a service that can benefit so many, & our education even teaches us to screen serious medical conditions that may otherwise go unchecked in people who are not otherwise regularly accessing healthcare services.

I couldn’t be more proud of my amazing peers who worked tirelessly on this passion project. Of our faculty who inspire us to provide accessible, equitable care for all. and of my fellow classmates as we begin working here & making it the very best experience possible for our patients❤️

a few days ago, I got to visit a glorious tulip festival at Dalton Farms for my birthday. it wasn’t the way the farm planned for things to go, but they made the best of this covid situation by turning it into a drive through experience. I tried to take some photos with a zoom lens while we were driving, but no photos could ever do this justice.

thank you to dalton farms for being a great example to the community in how to make the best of our current situation and allowing us to enjoy the beautiful flowers you worked to grow. let us bloom where we are planted, just as flowers do

wishing the happiest 3rd birthday to Roman! 🥳 I’ve loved getting to watch this little cutie grow up over the past few years of photographing him. last time we even got to play together afterwards, and he cracks me up! hoping he has the best day today, and I look forward to watching him grow even more over the years🤗

sharing this oldie. a few years ago and I did something risky by shooting at an abandoned house. in hindsight, we shouldn’t have gone in it but we were so drawn to the spookiness and mystery of what lied within.

today i drove past that house and noticed it was no longer there. I don’t know when exactly it got demolished, but I just wanted to share an old photo since that session still lingers in my memory to this day.

is anyone else intrigued by abandoned buildings or is it just me? 🙋🏻‍♀️
