What if it rains?
The million dollar question! But what if it rains? Papa dios is in control and that is something that is inevitable and we all know Miami has bipolar personality when it comes to an accurate forecast! As a photographers is a little overwhelming cause there is a lot of moving parts with logistics, stressed clients, nails, session preparations etc! Just a lot!
Tips on scheduling your session:
Try to schedule your session at least 3 months prior to your daughter’s 15th birthday/ Party! Why? In the event we have to reschedule, we need ample time to give you back up dates so you have your gallery in time for your party/birthday. Booking too close to your event dates, adds pressure and you are taking a chance with limited availability for reschedules.
Second recommendation: I paid for my nails and now I have to pay for it again? This is a big one for me… I recommend if you are not a regular with getting your nails done, let’s take the approach of doing press on nails. They come a long way and hold off really good.
Lastly and very important: my goal is for you to have an amazing experience the day of your session. Working through rain and showers through out, is very unpleasant. You will experience high percentage of humidity, dragging wet dress and my favorite.. my favorite little miami friends, LOS MOSQUITOS!
I’ve had a mixture of parents who take the chance and move forward with the session. It would rain here and there and session came out amazing and then there are some sessions, we move forward and rain didn’t stop and we had to reschedule on location.
Rain is always a possibility, and unfortunately it’s something we can’t control. The best way to avoid stress is to plan your session early so we have flexibility if weather becomes a factor and aren’t working too close to your event date.
