Angel had the career and the physique. His photos were years old and shot for the wrong audience, so none of it was landing where it needed to.

His old photos were technically fine. Sharp, well lit, taken on a good camera. So why was he not getting the results he wanted?

Because a photo can be high quality and still be built entirely around what impresses other men. The car, the suit, the serious face, the group shot.

Women read something completely different and there is nuance to it.

Two months later he’s gone from 5 matches a week to getting five matches a day.

Look at Angel’s before photos and most people would say they’re good. High quality, well shot, nothing obviously wrong with them. So why weren’t they performing?

Simply because they weren’t shot for the female gaze. They were shot for the male gaze, which is a completely different thing, and there’s more nuance to it than most guys realize.

After making the changes and presenting him as the man that women are actively looking for. The matches came flooding in and he was surprised at how big of a difference it actually made.

Ten years married. That ended, he got thrown back on the apps, and he was pulling five matches a week with photos taken by whoever happened to be holding the phone.

He flew to Miami. We rebuilt his styling, his wardrobe, and the way he gets shot.

Vishnu built a dating profile, looked at it, and deleted it the same day.

He’s in Toronto. He already had a few professional photos, including a set with an Aston Martin that wasn’t his. He knew it wasn’t landing but he didn’t know why.

His other plan was to spend money travelling to the europe and get his sister to take photos of him there. Better architecture than most places in Miami but worse photos overall, because the buildings were never the missing piece.

Nobody assembles specific looks, specific environments, specific posing all catered to what women actually want to see. Just by accident while on holiday.

He came to me instead and went home with assets rather than souvenirs.

Angel had already paid for a photoshoot three months before he found me, and he thought he liked the pictures at the time.

He’s in New Jersey and got divorced recently so knew he had to start making an effort.

He eventually noticed what those old photos were doing for him and his opinion of them flipped. They were “nice” pictures of a man. There was no intention behind the specific looks, the locations or the order they’d sit in and nothing speaking to the women he wanted to attract.

He didn’t want to find another generic photographer, pick some random outfits himself, show up as he currently is, and end up in the same place a third time.

He wanted to take his image seriously and have someone with qualified eyes to do it all for him. He flew down Saturday night, shot Sunday, home Monday. Six specific looks fit to the right archetype of man he is.

With Joshua we spent a lot of time prepping before his actual shoot.

First we do the style and image consultation. I go through what he looks like now, work out which archetype of an attractive, put together man he can actually become, and then we build him into it. Grooming, hair, wardrobe, body composition.

With Joshua, his beard was the biggest lever I noticed. He can grow a proper one and it had never been shaped, lined or lengthened for his face. That alone changes how the entire jaw reads.

So we spent a couple weeks getting him ready. Then six looks, six locations, and a profile ordered to convert.

Most men book a photographer, turn up exactly as they are, and then wonder why professional photos of an unoptimised version of them changed nothing.

Angel is active military, 5’8”, and dieted down to a 28 inch waist before we shot.

Up at 4:30, an hour of cardio, coffee. That’s a normal morning for him.

A physique like that usually ends up as a gym mirror shot and nothing else. Years of work, one flat angle, nothing intentionally built around it.

So we shot scenes instead of portraits. Morning routine in a boutique hotel suite, coffee and a notebook, getting ready. Black swim shorts on the beach. Running and lifting at Muscle Beach in white. Luxury estate in linen. beach lounge in the afternoon. All black at dinner as the light dropped.

Six stories out of one day. Every one of them is actually his life, which is why they work on the dating apps and on his Instagram at the same time.

He’s 44, based in Los Angeles, pulling 5 to 10 Hinge matches a week on photos he called horrible himself.
Decent demand getting through genuinely bad pictures.

We made the call to cut the hair as it was only attracting a small niche of women. That was one of the single biggest pieces of his transformation.

Resort pool, dinner, beach, coffee, all black at night, luxury estate. Six looks built around the archetype he suits best and stands out to the women he wants.

He’s now back in LA and the results speak for itself. Higher volume of matches than he’s ever had in his life, more inbound leads vs outbound and the women reaching out aren’t the ones he was seeing in January.
