MY “FULLY BOOKED” IS DIFFERENT THAN YOUR “FULLY BOOKED”
We all live different lives with different responsibilities and family dynamics. So stop freaking out when another photographer says they’re “fully booked”.
Some photographers can only do weekends because they work full time, other photographers take the summers off so they can spend the break with their kids etc.
After 14 years of doing this guess what? I’m actually never really “fully booked” because I have all the time in the world and I’ll somehow make a session happen for my clients.
But when I was working full time and in grad school, I would get “fully booked” months in advance.
So when you see someone posting “almost fully booked for the year” in July - DONT FREAK OUT.
My best piece of advice? Keep grinding, bringing luxury experiences to your clients, cultivating relationships with them, and make them want to come back for more each year while also singing your praises to their friend and families.
