You can fake a lot of things.
Passion isn’t one of them.

Because eventually, people can tell when you’re just going through the motions.

Selling insurance one day… TV chef the next.
Okay, maybe it didn’t happen quite that fast. 😂
But Chef Pepín’s career is proof that sometimes the path makes absolutely no sense while you’re living it.
He took the opportunity, figured it out as he went, and — most importantly — never quit.

“I was willing to pay $150 to do the freaking show.”

Chef Pepín wanted that first TV opportunity so badly, he was prepared to pay for it.

What he didn’t know was that they were about to offer **him $75 per segment.** 😂

So naturally, he went to Blockbuster to rent a few “how-to” cooking videos.
There was just one problem… 😂
A couple of the tapes he brought home were definitely not cooking videos. 😳
