Crazy to think that I met this little boy's mom (more on her later) when he was just a baby. I didnt know anything about babies or toddlers or the difference in sizes. She was my first placement. I bought her a present (for her baby) and it was a 2T. I think he was under 1 years old.
But I loved her the moment I spoke to her on the phone. I loved her even more when. We met. I said to myself - we're going to be friends.
So much has happened since the time we met and we always have to catch up.
But today I saw and was honored to photograph this boy, who was a baby LIKE YESTERDAY, graduate 5th grade!
I cried.
And then, drumroll to my friend, the principal shared such beautiful words about this amazing person. She went on to describe everything SHE IS. I KNEW it would her.
And then. I ugly cried.
I love you Lydia!
Congrats 5th grade!
And a special congrats M! I KNOW you have the best parents behind you. Off to MIDDLE!
