🕊️ In Loving Memory of Homero “Homer” Gardin 🕊️
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Homero “Homer” Gardin.
Homer was one of the very first photographers to join HJPhoto, and his impact on our company, our team, and our community cannot be overstated. A proud Class of 1977 graduate of DeKalb High School in Illinois, Homer brought with him a lifetime of experience, curiosity, and a genuine love for photography and life.
Beyond the camera, Homer was an avid birder and landscape photographer who traveled to 49 countries, always eager to share stories from his adventures and the beauty he captured along the way. Whether in the studio, at an event, or out in the field, he was a constant source of positivity; someone who could lift spirits, spark smiles, and remind us why moments matter.
Homer truly embraced every season and every opportunity, from senior portraits and events to helping students celebrate milestones. His passion, dedication, and joyful spirit are woven into the foundation of HJPhoto.
Homer was more than a colleague; he was family. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy and love for photography will always remain a part of who we are.
Please keep Homer’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this time.
Thank you for honoring his memory with us and for continuing to support one another and our community.
