This has to be one of the photos that I knew consciously, I was taking with my heart. Not my eyes, not my hands, but my heart took over.
I fell in love with this moment as soon as it happened, and I just hoped that the end result would show it.

Well, it made it to the top 20% at the 16th Annual International Birth Photography Awards from IAPBP.
It means so much, to be recognized for a photo that means so much to me.

To be invited to a birth space is an honor in itself. To be trusted by families AND birth workersā€¦ I will never take it for granted.

And to top it all off, to know Iā€™m part of the Association with the most talented, intuitive and passionate birth photographers OF THE WORLD is just the biggest honor.

My approach is to follow your rhythm, your plan (and even the unexpected) so you can stay present in the moment and look back at how it all felt.
