The woman behind the name.
Every business has a story, and ours begins with Margaret and A.J. Pitman.
In 1928, they founded Pitman Photo Supply, never knowing that nearly a century later, their family name would still be part of so many people's memories.
Meet Margaret Pitman, one of the two people who started it all.
But Margaret's story went beyond the camera shop. She was also president of the Royal Poinciana Women's Club, and in this photograph, she's pictured holding the president's gavel. A little glimpse into her life and a special piece of our history.
We recently restored this beautiful photograph of Margaret, and there's something pretty wonderful about bringing a piece of our own history back to life.
After all, photographs aren't just pictures. They're the people we remember, the stories we share, and the moments we never want to lose.
