“The sensation of black and white” with
What is it that gives black-and-white photography its singular power? By removing color, we focus more deeply on what truly matters. Light, shadow, contrast - they strip the scene down to its essence, summarizing the image in a way that lets us see it in a new dimension. Even the simplest image, free from distractions, gains immense power when turned into monochrome. This sensation is one of the forces that drives my mind forward, and it all comes down to this: by seeing less, you can actually see more - more truth, more feeling, more of that raw power that is immediate, vivid, and full of clarity.
