A little Retro-Futurism for a change. Obviously captured at the Miami Design District, we shot this look styled by Fashion Stylist Elisa Baptista from Istituto Marangoni Miami. Work in Progress for an editorial feature, considering the terrible alternative of having a planet so damaged that we might have to get out of our homes with full atmospheric protection. Let's hope not! Also, for obvious resons, no hair or make-up involved.

Urban Art created by the Haitian tire repair guys in North Miami. If this piece was signed by a “recognized” conceptual artist, it would be in any Contemporary Art Museum, with a deep metaphysical text explaining the Dramas of the Soul, or equivalent. Have you seen other anonymous Street Art pieces recently?

I feel it is a good thing to start 2026 reminding myself of one of the things that made me love photography: this sense of waning images in our mind, the blurry and shaky images that so clearly represent our vanishing memories, while honoring one of my favorite photographers, Paolo Roversi and his now “classic” style of painting with light. It is always healthy to go back to basics!!

The true and real mix of Art and Fashion happened recently with the revamped MIAMI FASHION WEEK!! Congrats!! Having great fashion garments walking through the Gary Nader SuperGallery spaces was a fascinating experience and a great compromise to keep doing better and better every year. We have to thank, of course, to new blood developing these great concepts and productions, like PR Master Laura Nerulias from LoraPRdotcom and creative directors like Elliot Carlslyle (in the pic with yours truly) plus an amazing group of Miami models, including Jennifer Cruz and Yaris Cedano among many other beauties. Even the Gary Nader’s bathrooms are full of amazing Art!!

Say NO to censorship in the Arts!! Way too many sickos and pseudo-religious dudes in positions of power pathetically influencing and expanding the definition of P**n to just aggregate every visual form that involves nudity as obscene and prone to be censored and removed, or simply not accepted anywhere. Even the AI platforms added the NSFW category pretty early to justify censorship since the onset. We HAVE to stop this!

Issey Miyake's timeless creations, exploring fashion, architecture, shapes and blending styles, plus his unique research on fabrics, has created a universe of his own. In the images, we have our amazing model Maddie Miller, styled by Naty Parodi , hair by Frances Lordan and makeup by Jesus Bravo, shot at the Miami Fashion Museum, aka, the Parodi Custome Collection, under the general Production of Paquita and Gonzalo Parodi, and photos by yours truly. A fresh look at a vintage Gucci 1973 original, part of the collection by the amazing Parodi Custome Collection, the , which hosts thousands of fantastic garments from the Edwardian Era in the 1860s all the way to the present time.

It is said that the great thing about the trends from the 70s is that we can still easily integrate them into our outfits today, because designers and street style stars keep giving the cool retro looks a new twist. The versatile fashion of the 70s is still a sign of the outcry for peace, freedom and love.

Dear friends, partners and associates: I am thrilled and excited to present a Review of my Personal/Fine Art Projects, all the more so given the fact that so many people, organisations and religious groups are pretending to have a high moral ground to judge and censor the images of the human body through the ages, tagging everything as obscene or even pornographic when this interpretation is so far from the facts!
Marta Puig, Editor-in-Chief and Curator for the Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, really saw through my work, and her comments are spot-on.
It is always interesting to note that these personal projects always feed the creative processes when working on Advertising Campaigns.
In fact, a group of my images has been used for different Advertising Projects. Wanna guess which?
So please, take some time to read and explore the interconnections between the visible and the intangible.
