Dear friends, partners and associates: I am thrilled and excited to present a Review of my Personal/Fine Art Projects, all the more so given the fact that so many people, organisations and religious groups are pretending to have a high moral ground to judge and censor the images of the human body through the ages, tagging everything as obscene or even pornographic when this interpretation is so far from the facts!
Marta Puig, Editor-in-Chief and Curator for the Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, really saw through my work, and her comments are spot-on.
It is always interesting to note that these personal projects always feed the creative processes when working on Advertising Campaigns.
In fact, a group of my images has been used for different Advertising Projects. Wanna guess which?
So please, take some time to read and explore the interconnections between the visible and the intangible.
Jorge Parra’s photographic work is a profound visual exploration of the alchemical process—a concept as much philosophical as it is symbolic. His portfolio transcends the mere depiction of the human form, elevating it into a space where spirituality, philosophy, and visual poetry converge.
