The essence of luxury no one told you about…….

Wassupp fam, phew! 😮‍💨 Can’t believe we are already in the middle of October 🤦🏽‍♂️

Time is literally flying by hahaha.

As a luxury destination wedding photographer in an industry that throws around the word “LUXURY” like cheerleaders at a football game; this has managed to leave me with a reoccurring conundrum 🤔

“What is luxury?✨🤷🏾‍♂️

Well, let me explain 🗣️

According to the Webster dictionary, the word luxury is defined as “something adding to pleasure or comfort but not absolutely necessary.

In other words, we experience luxury in our everyday lives without even realizing it by having something that brings pleasure or comfort to us in a nonessential way to our human life 🤯

With this being said:

✨ Your spouse is a luxury.

✨ Your renovated 2 or 3 bedroom house is a luxury.

✨ The beautiful architecture of your college campus or church is a luxury.

You get the point here hahaha 😁

So before we get caught up in comparison of another bride’s luxury wedding in Italy, let’s take some time to uncover and discover the luxury right before our very eyes 👁️ ✨

What does "Ti amo così tanto" means............

Long time no see fam 😜

Dad life has been real lately hahaha 🧸🍼😁

But on the other hand, I've been studying my Italian again 🇮🇹🙌🏾

And there was one day, I was studying Italian throughout the day and all of a sudden this phrase came to me: "Ti amo così tanto." ❤️

You might be thinking......

David, what the "HECK" is Ti amo così tanto?🤔🤦🏽‍♂️

Well, let me explain lol

Ti amo così tanto is a phrase in Italian which translates as "I love you a lot or I love you so much” in English 💕

So when I hear my wedding couples say this in English, I always try to capture the sobriety of this raw expression with my camera 📸

And I must say, the pictures of this moment are always beautiful and dreamy..... ✨💭

Where has David been?

Phew! 😮‍💨 That's a good question hahaha 😅

It’s been more than six months since I have posted any destination wedding content on here due to taking the time to be present with my wife and my new baby son 🍼🧸👶🏼

On top of this, I have been learning how to be a dad, working a new job as a behavioral specialist at a K-8 school, and freshening up on my Italian!🤌🏽✨🇮🇹

Redeeming love at Hammond Castle destination wedding 🏰

Whoa! 😳

I don’t know where to start with this breathtaking medieval destination wedding. Hammond Castle was built during the 1920’s and overlooks the Gloucester Harbor waters near Boston ✨🌊🏰👰🏼

It was so dreamy ✨💭

After getting out of an unhealthy relationship, Nadine’s redeeming love story began the moment she fell in love with Jacob, her hot lovable lawyer 🥹❤️💼 📝

Jacob easily won Nadine over with his maturity and his straightforward ability to love her unto marriage and beyond ❤️👰🏼✨

Their beautiful love story developed unto marriage at Hammond Castle near Boston. A gorgeous setting, rich with authentic Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance artifacts from Europe 🌎 🖼️ 👨‍🎨

So cool….. 🥹
