The heart of Havana is not in the cafes, markets, or dance halls but at the infamous sea wall known as the Malecón. A symbol of strength and everlasting, the Malecón is where Cuban's come to discuss today's news, eat, dance, sip rum, or enjoy another magical sunset. Alongside three of the busiest neighborhoods, Vedado, Centro Habana, and Habana Vieja, there is something for everyone, every night of the week. My preferences were the music and conversations while drawing on a Montecristo #4.

On my first night in Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, on the first night of Ramadan, and after my first Iftar, I had my first Moroccan (Maghrebi) Mint Tea. Strong and sweet, like someone I know. Such a memorable night, that I can close my eyes hear the street sounds, and taste it all over again. Nothing like jumping right in -

⁣⁣In 2018, 424,066 children were reported missing. This translates to the entire city of Minneapolis, MN or Oakland, CA. Over three days this past April Jake Scott and artists, Jamie N Commons, Skylar Grey, and Gallant came together to shoot a new version of Soul Asylum’s ground-breaking Runaway Train music video. ⁣⁣
