No one has to read just a note to self
One thing I learned from being a kid is that fun is the appreciation of life. One thing I learned as an adult to teach my kid self is being present is the appreciation of time. I'm made of the same stuff in standing on but I get to experience life. My body is a fraction of the universe but my consciousness in this universe. You can never get over depression without these two key appreciations. Enjoying life as a gift and the time that you have, what you do with it will give you purpose, fix problems that's in your control and finding happiness is a trivial side effect of functioning properly as happiness form itself...
