Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by nature and its beauty: the colors and the shapes, the harmonious and the dramatic, the big living creatures and the tiny microscopic organisms. And I have also been intrigued by humans and their emotions. I got my first camera when I was 8 years old and as soon as I was able to make a steady income (a long while afterwards) bought my first single-lens
reflex camera. I love to explore, experience new things, getting lost but, at the same time, being in touch with my surroundings. I also love shooting people and capture their essence, personality and emotions. Photography is a never-ending process of learning and the perfect outlet for curiosity and inspiration. I seek inspiration in the masterpieces of photographers like Ansel Adams, Arthur Morris, Art Wolf and painters like Georgia O’Keeffe. I am a member of the New York Institute of Photography and the Professional Photographers of America and I shoot mainly nature and wildlife, travel photography and, of course, portraits.
