Evening Grosbeaks

They’re built like tiny tanks. Evening Grosbeaks are one of North America’s larger finches, with a thick body and an enormous-looking bill.
That massive bill is a seed-cracking powerhouse. Their thick, conical bill can crack some seriously tough seeds, especially sunflower seeds.

A New Chapter 🪽

As my photography continues to evolve, so does the identity behind it. I wanted a logo that felt more personal and carried a deeper meaning than simply a name.

The phoenix has become the most meaningful symbol to me. It represents resilience, transformation, and the ability to rise from what tried to break you. Photography has become such a vital part of my own journey, so bringing the phoenix into Dixon Adventure Photography felt like the right way to represent where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’m going.

A new logo for an evolving journey. Same passion. New chapter. 📸🪽

🐾 And, of course, this phoenix is a dedication to my beautiful boy, Phoenix, who has walked through my life hand and paw. I found him when I was at my lowest, and he has been beside me through every chapter since. Some companions change your life simply by being there. Phoenix is one of those souls. This will always be his phoenix, too. 🖤🪽
