Had the pleasure of attending the Luke Air Force Base Luke Air Days 2026 Event on Saturday March 21st. It was unbearably hot that day but I was excited to see both the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds this year! It was an amazing show. Here are some of my images I captured throughout the day. Please feel free to like and share. In a seat I haven’t driven I’m quite a while…operating graphics and playback for a local event with a great crew for a national sales meeting for a large furniture company. Was able to support the production client with some gear and providing a flawless show for the end client. Late nights and early mornings but a happy client makes it all worth it.

Today was a once in a lifetime kinda experience. We were fortunate enough to be the Technical Director for the Sotheby’s auction of 11 original Picasso artworks from the MGM collection - Las Vegas. It was an intense 45 minutes and all 11 lots sold, some for as much as $35million. We’re back at it as an EIC for another ~70 lots of various other collectibles on Sunday! What an amazing experience to be involved in let along to see these works of art close up.

Another show…this time in Atlanta. Had a rocking good time with our production partner KATAPULT Events doing our opening session. It takes an army on these shows and we have a great one. Two Barco E2’s, an S3, Christie X80, three Blackmagic Constellation 8K’s, a Blackmagic 40x40 12G, a full production truck, five D3 VX4’s, miles of fiber and much more to deliver an immersive live event with a virtual stream component.

Working a little outside our “normal” workplace environments with a great client and crew providing services and gear for MidAmerican Energy at the Iowa State Fair with AV Dimensions and Applied Art & Technology. Long days but it’s great to be back on shows again doing what we do best!
