It’s been awhile. I was in survival mode pretty much all of 2024. Anyone else feel that way too?

I still did photography but took a huge step back from my social media page and posting sessions. Soooo now I’m playing catch up 😅

I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries for newborn sessions- which I am so excited about!! I love them! I figured I would share some tips for newborn sessions.

•ideal time is within the first 2 weeks of baby being born

•these can be done in the comfort of your home or in a studio (studio fee applies)

•wear neutrals! We want the focus to be all on baby. If you wear bright colors or busy patterns then it will distract and take away

•have baby wear a solid neutral color onesie, I also recommend bringing stretchy swaddles

•try to feed baby 15-20 min before the session, that way their bellies are full, their tummy has time to settle and they’re extra sleepy

•change baby into outfit right before the session to avoid spit up or a blow out (bring a back up outfit just in case)

Lastly, if baby wakes up or gets fussy don’t stress. We can take breaks if needed to soothe baby.
