The magic of the first 48 hours is unlike anything else. As a photographer, a Fresh 48 session has been one of the most special sessions I get to document.
It’s not a posed newborn shoot—it’s raw, authentic, and utterly fleeting. It’s an intimate, documentary glimpse into the very beginning of a new life and a new family dynamic. I step into the hospital room as a quiet observer, ready to capture moments you’ll be too exhausted (and blissfully overwhelmed) to remember clearly later.
Why I love a Fresh 48 from behind the lens:
