It is with a heavy heart I have to report that Dan LeBrun, my guardian angel since John died, was found deceased in his recliner last week. He was at Quick Prints a week ago Monday helping with a large order, but he asked to go home a little early because he thought he was coming down with a cold. He didn't answer the phone when I called that night or the next day to check on him. He didn't meet me at the door of the shop when I arrived Wednesday, and he didn't answer my knock on his apartment door; so I feared the worst. A police welfare check confirmed that Dan had died in his recliner, and it appeared to have happened Monday. Dan was a talented man with a big heart. He had been a fireman, an Army Special Forces Medic for 28 years, a loving dad to his autistic son, an apartment manager for 14 years, a faithful Quick Prints helper for 26 months and was beloved by those who knew him. Please pray for those grieving his loss and for the future of Quick Prints. We both loved history, old family photos and preserving the past for the future.

When it rains, it pours--and I'm not talking about the moisture from the sky. My deepest apologies for the delays in printing orders at Quick Prints. The problem with the printer was finally properly diagnosed, the part ordered for overnight delivery, and the technician arrived from Memphis only to be told the part had to be ordered from Japan, through CA and then to Meridian. We haven't been "down" this many weeks since Covid, and we greatly appreciate the patience of our faithful customers. We hope to be calling you soon to tell you your order is ready.

Whatever your feelings about new technology, we have new software with unbelievable results--and sometimes a frustrating learning curve. Our customers are ecstatic, and we are extremely optimistic about what we can create for them. I will miss a few work days in the next few weeks, so please check with Quick Prints, 601 485-3278 if you have questions. We are not a printing shop. We are a photo lab. We started our 43rd year in business May 10th, and you will be getting personal attention to your imaging needs. The attached images are some of our first experiences "before and after."
