A few weeks ago, a mama reached out worried that she had missed her chance to capture newborn photos.
Her baby was already a month old, and she kept seeing images of those sleepy, curled-up newborn poses that are typically photographed within the first couple of weeks after birth. She was afraid she had waited too long.
The truth?
It's never too late to document your baby.
While younger newborns are often sleepier and more flexible, older babies are beautiful in their own way. Every stage deserves to be remembered.
When babies come into the studio a little older, we simply follow their lead. That might mean more wrapped poses, beautiful awake portraits, sweet stretches, curious expressions, and all the little details that make your baby uniquely them.
My goal isn't to force your baby into a pose that doesn't work for them. My goal is to create beautiful images that tell the story of who they are right now.
