I have long been fascinated by s*xuality in all of its varied forms. From the vanilla to the extreme kink. Taylor Oakes offered an Intro to Erotica class and if you have ever seen her work on Instagram, you know it strays into the less discussed aspects of s*xuality. She’s often banned on Facebook for sharing her images, because they’re deemed inappropriate. I find her photographs to be intriguing and mind opening so even if I was just able to take some more “risqué” (for lack of a better word) photographs, I wanted to get in her class. Taylor did not disappoint.

Having the confidence to embrace s*xuality has always been a huge part of my life and encouraging others to explore and accept their own interests is important to me. Often women are shamed into purity, which is literally the most absurd concept imaginable.

I want to refocus my work on promoting confidence through s*xuality, however my clients define the word.

Whether you’re into the romantic implied style with lingerie, sultry looks and covered bits, or you’re into a bit of light bo***ge and rope, or more extreme interests… Whatever level of s*xuality you’re comfortable expressing, working with me provides a judgment free space in which to experiment and express yourself, as long as it’s consensual and legal.

In the meantime, I will be separating family work from the erotic art. This will include bo***ir, couples, erotica, and maternity.

Bo***ir is like the introduction, the “for everyone” stage. This is the first step and many may remain at this step which is absolutely ok. A bo***ir session does so much to create or elevate confidence for anyone.

Couples work will include two (or more) individuals. Straight, LGBTQ, poly, and anything in between. Discrimination is not in my vocabulary. It will range from vanilla to... well that will be discussed with each client.

Erotica includes anything. Literally anything. Safety, legality, and consent are mandatory and will be discussed extensively with all clients involved.

And absolutely maternity, because pregnancy is the ultimate vision and result of s*xuality. I’ve also found the physical and mental effects of pregnancy leave some women feeling uncomfortable with their bodies. There is nothing more I’d love to do for pregnant women than show them the absolute beautiful, courageous, strong, and vibrant forces they are.

I will still work with families because I absolutely love showing the true affection and devotion of the familial bonds. I also loooooove working with kids. They are an absolute blast and full of so much personality. We get along exceptionally (probably because I’m just a big kid on their level). I don’t believe the two are exclusive, but due to the adult nature of some imagery and verbiage I will separate the site into two parts. You can find family work at family.arowanphoto.com

I struggled with doing this for a long time, because I personally believe it is a cyclical and interdependent circle of life: children are a direct result of s*x. I do not want to make s*x or nudity seem taboo by separating them... Buuuuuuuuut after much consideration, I have decided to separate work with families to a separate site and exclude families from instagram.
