Great news! I received word from Tamarack that my metal print, The Treehouse, which was on display in the Best of West Virginia Exhibit has SOLD!

I'm a day late making a West Virginia Day post. To celebrate West Virginia's 162nd birthday, I went out in search of our state animal, the black bear. I saw several, but this sow with triplet cubs was definitely the highlight!

"The Treehouse" will be on display at the 17th Annual Best of West Virginia Exhibit at Tamarack. This is Tamarack's biggest exhibit of the year and is open to all West Virginia residents. Pieces must pass a jury process to be accepted for display. The reception and awards ceremony is this Saturday, May 31st at 1:00 p.m. Stop by if you are in the area!

I recently took a vacation to Watoga State Park. I got to stay in a cute little log cabin and saw plenty of flora and fauna. It was a great trip! (Details listed on each photo caption)
