Week 13 - High Key
Spring has officially started and while where I live there is still potential for snow and chilly temps, the water down at the bay has started to warm up along with the air and thus the ice has started to break up forming these huge mounds of ice close to the shoreline. I would venture some of the mountains of ice chunks are as high as 10-15 feet and some of the blocks of ice can be quite large themselves - maybe about 2 feet thick and 3-4 wide....all guesses..the point is they are huge.
I set my camera on high key effects, took a few shots around the park - this park is not where the lighthouse is located but rather you can still see it off the distance from the bay. I then made a few edits. This is a fun composition cause it gives the appearance of the ice being really high.
