Château de Michellia in Salem, Oregon felt like something straight out of a fairytale 🏰 a beautiful château surrounded by forest.

This hidden gem hosts fewer than 10 weddings each year, which made it even more special to document Christie & Josh’s wedding in such a rare and dreamy place.

Every corner was so thoughtfully designed, from the crystal chandeliers and vintage oil paintings to the piano and all the little artistic details. There were so many beautiful backdrops, both indoors and outdoors.

It was such a romantic place to celebrate a wedding, and I feel so lucky that I got to capture this sweet couple’s special day here.

Back at the beautiful Allied Arts Guild last week.💜

One of the things I love most about this venue—after photographing more than ten weddings here—is that it never looks the same twice. The garden transforms throughout the year, with different flowers blooming every season and every month bringing its own colors and surprises.

Spring brings cherry blossoms and hydrangeas. Early summer welcomes blooming jacarandas and roses. In the fall, golden marigolds and elegant magnolias take over the garden. Every visit feels like discovering a new side of this place.

But if I had to pick a favorite time, it would be May. The gardens are at their greenest, full of life and energy, while purple jacaranda blooms quietly appear throughout the courtyard. The whole venue feels dreamy, romantic, and straight out of a fairytale. 💜🌿

We were honored to be part of V & F’s special day and capture their beautiful love story.

They chose a hidden castle estate for their wedding, and with the bride in her Vera Wang gown, the whole day felt like a fairytale. The soft blue palette added such a pure, romantic touch to the celebration.🩵

Their vows were so heartfelt and moved us deeply. One moment I’ll never forget was when the earthquake happened, the groom immediately held the bride tightly in his arms, protecting her without hesitation. It was such a touching reflection of the love and sense of safety they share.

Congratulations, V & F. Wishing this sweet couple a lifetime of happiness. 🥳
