My book from .tokyo with my photograph inside finally arrived so I might as well post the photos from the time I went to go see the gallery in London! Thank you to the team at Ephemere and ANNE MURAYAMA アン・ムラヤマ for choosing my photo to be part of this gallery! It was so cool seeing my photo be part of the gallery in person. I also got to meet the wonderful people at PHOTOMAFIASTUDIOS / Photography Studio, PHOTOMAFIA BOOKSHOP including Joe Westley who also had his photo part of the gallery too! It was really cool meeting another photographer across the pond and see how run a local studio too. So very cool to meet you and other people there!

And last but certainly not least, big thanks to for being my local guide and also accompanying me to the gallery too! It was so cool seeing you again after a decade of not seeing one another (we met when she was studying abroad at my high school and we stayed in touch online since!). May we hopefully see each other again wherever it may be! 😊

Liminal spaces are so eerie, no? 👀

These photos I have in this post were submitted for a contest that focused on liminal spaces. Unfortunately, they did not get chosen for the particular open call but I like them anyways so I wanted to share them with y’all. (Obviously, it was inspired by The Backrooms movie). I enjoyed the movie so much! It was creepy and fun, in all the best ways! I also still need to see Obsession too. Which one (picture and/or movie) is your favorite? ❤️

Happy 4th of July everyone! I tried to go take photos of the fireworks at the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday but it was too crazy with the traffic, people, and poor planning on my part that I didn’t get to see it. This did lead me to look back on my other photos to remember all of the United States in its entirety.

I am a huge fan of history so most of these photos were taken from local and national historical sites which I’m grateful to have gotten the privilege to go and explore. I still think fondly of ny time in DC and exploring the midwest while I had the chance. It’s also a blessing that with the current political climate, I get to live in SF Bay Area, an area that honors our first Amendment rights for Freedom of Speech and right to protest. Regardless where we live in the United States, may we continue to keep the fight going and connect with our local communities to uphold a future for every hardworking American, immigrant included, can achieve!

I got nostalgic when I saw posts and things going on in DC (while obviously going through the emotions of what’s going on currently) and I wanted to bring my energy into some sort of positivity so I decided to look back on my memories when I lived in DC. As I looked at my old photos, I realized I never posted these pictures of when I visited Lincoln’s Cottage, one of my favorite places I got to check out.

When I went to go visit, I wanted to take the tour that you can do inside the cottage but I missed it by 10 minutes and they did not allow me in (sad noises) but they told me about an app that provided a private tour of the grounds. It was one of the most meditative and relaxing guided tours, through an app, that I ever did! No joke! I actually felt emotional while walking these grounds and learning the history behind the cottage, what Lincoln felt when he lived there, and how it was shaped in our modern day today. Very cool to check out if you ever get the chance.

Another photoshoot from .luxephoto retreat at Calla Lily valley. This was probably one of my favorite locations (and the messiest too! I lost a pair of sneakers to the mud!) This is part 1 for the Calla Lily Valley photoshoot! More to come soon! :)
