📢🚫 Contestation of Instagram/Meta's Arbitrary Decision: Deletion of NikonChatOficial Account 📸
As a social media specialist, I strongly contest the Instagram/Meta's decision to delete the NikonChatOficial Instagram account. It is crucial to emphasize that this account's main purpose was to share original photographs from community member photographers, always with proper authorization and without offending or violating any third-party rights.
The primary objective of Instagram as a photo-sharing platform was effectively fulfilled by NikonChatOficial, which dedicated itself to reposting the work of talented partner photographers. No false information, politics, or sensitive subjects were shared, and all content adhered to the platform's conduct and guidelines.
It is worth noting that the same content is also present on the page. Therefore, we question if Facebook will also take the same arbitrary decision to delete the page. Such action lacks any valid basis or justification.
We vehemently reject this unjust and erroneous decision by Instagram/Meta. We demand clear justifications regarding which conduct was violated to warrant such a drastic measure. Additionally, we insist on an immediate review of this decision and the restoration of the NikonChatOficial account, along with the preservation of all associated data and information.
NikonChatOficial contributed to the appreciation of photographic art and the promotion of talented individuals within the community. Deleting this account not only deprives the involved photographers but also denies photography enthusiasts a platform for visibility and interaction.
