Julie Berglund Photography & Design I'm a wildlife and landscape photographer from the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. A rare breed in the world of the web. That is one of her joys in life.

As with most of the general populace, Julie spends the majority of her days in front of a monitor, with deadlines looming; white light burning her eyes; and, stress eating away her life on a GOOD day at work. By day, Julie is a virtual hybrid of graphic artist and website developer, able to switch between her artistic and technical hats at the client’s whim. By night (and, morning, and any minute

available), her camera comes out and she jumps into her alter ego of wildlife and landscape photographer. Photography is her way of escaping that work stress. She can take her camera and disappear into the woods, or the city, or the backyard, listening for familiar sounds of birds and critters. Looking for that one image that most people never see. She knows she’s blessed with the ability to take a little time here and there to pursue her passion - as well as having a family of VERY understanding people. Her goal as a photographer and artist is to share that passion with others. To facilitate a smile, or genuine awe, from another person; to open their eyes to what is in the world around them if they simply stop and look. If you're just a hobbyist, why the professional watermarks on your photos? Answer:
I may not be a professional. But, I still prefer to not have my photos stolen, which has already happened to friends a colleagues in my photography groups.

My Birds of Wisconsin Calendar shows off some of my favorite birds! From the amazing American Bald Eagle to the cute Cattle Egrets, and everything in-between.

And, this year’s Fat, Judgmental Squirrel & Friends Calendar has taken a new twist! With a goal of FJ getting into shape, and a bit of a poetic touch. This has been one of my favorite calendars to create, so far. And, I think it will be fun for the whole family!

I had a wonderful time doing a newborn photoshoot with this cutie. (My nephew, Ellis's, beautiful baby girl.) Her mama and grandma picked out her accessories and blanket. And, we used her other grandma's backyard for the shoot. She was a perfect model!

Had an awesome morning shooting at the Aurora BayCare High Cliff Triathlon, yesterday. Thanks to Mark J. Olson for another opportunity to help shoot at some local races. I truly enjoy it! (Especially the bikes!)
