This beautiful blue heron was catching an early morning feast. I didn’t catch him eating but I witnessed it and that’s simply enough sometimes.

Such a beautiful afternoon on Lake Ouachita, even when the wind blew in. The colors were amazing as the storm rolled in.

I was blessed to see and capture a few good shots of a young black bear. He was scavenging or raiding the trash bins for his evening meal. Please remember this is why I say close the lid, don’t leave your trash outside at camp and be aware you are in the woods.

As beautiful as he is I pray he moves on to safer places

This beautiful white herring or egret was slowly stalking the pond when arrived to watch the Canadian Geese so it was an added bonus evening. I guess I sat and watched it make 3 trips around the pond before the sun set. It was an interesting way to end my work day.
