I’ve been pretty quiet on the photography side of things lately, and I wanted to share a little of why.
Over the last several months, I’ve had to step back from my business to help care for my mom as she navigates some medical challenges. Family has needed to come first, and while I don’t regret a single moment spent being there for her, I have definitely missed being behind the camera.
Photography has always been more than just a job to me—it’s a way to connect with people, tell stories, and capture moments that pass by far too quickly. Lately, I’ve been feeling that pull to get back to what I love.
With back-to-school season coming up, I’m considering offering Back-to-School Mini Sessions and would love to know if there’s any interest! Whether it’s your little one starting kindergarten, a high school senior beginning their final year, siblings heading back together, or you’re a homeschooling family wanting to celebrate the start of a new school year, I’d love to help capture this special season of life. Homeschool students deserve first-day photos too!
