I found the neatest leaves on a park visit this week and couldn’t wait to make a miniature set in my office to photograph these little guys! The keen eye will also spot a box of Trader Joe’s cherry tomatoes that’s gonna get the same kind of photo shoot this weekend!

“Open Concept” done right! This gorgeous, classic Lookout Mountain home was designed with arched doorways giving a peek into the hustle and bustle of the home without feeling overwhelming!

Color and pattern play are what I get excited to see on each shoot! This bedding and rug pairing are a great example of her work…defining but not overwhelming a space! Also a highlight, that corner window and peek of sun / view!

Real wood pieces are having a comeback and I’m loving it (especially while working on a few rooms of my own home)! The balance struck here with lighter tones, brass, and a floral drapery by is terrific!

I’m not one for jumping into all the social trends but I’m sure glad I looked back to see what I was shooting in 2016! This was the year I had my VERY FIRST interiors / architecture shoot in Chattanooga! I shot dozens of family sessions, senior photos and a few weddings that year but as I desired to practice my interest with interiors, was willing to take a chance on hiring little ole me to capture this gorgeous home on Lookout Mountain. These are a few of my favorite landscapes but I’ll post some portraits in my stories!
