A quinceañera is more than just a party — it’s a beautiful tradition celebrating a girl’s 15th birthday and her transition into young womanhood ✨

One important part of many quinceañeras is the chambelanes. They are the young men who are part of the ceremony and dances, but their role goes far beyond just showing up. They spend weeks or even months rehearsing, supporting the quinceañera, helping calm nerves, bringing energy to the celebration, and helping create unforgettable memories for the family and guests.

As quinceañeras continue reaching wider audiences, I think it’s important to recognize how much chambelanes contribute to making these celebrations so special. They truly deserve more credit for the dedication, time, and heart they put into every event 💙

Also, huge shoutout to Rancho Hernandez for allowing us to create such an amazing session surrounded by beautiful country scenery and stunning horses. The atmosphere was perfect and truly brought the vision to life 🤎🐎✨

This daisy, honey, and bee-themed session for this precious one-year-old was pure sunshine. From the soft little giggles to the curious eyes taking it all in, every moment felt so sweet and special.
You can truly see how deeply loved she is by her family — the kind of love that fills every cuddle, every smile, and every little glance her way. Watching families celebrate these milestones is always such an honor, and this session was one I’ll never forget. 🍯✨

MEMPHIS — I NEED HELP FINDING THIS GIRL 💙

Last Saturday around 5–6 PM near Idlewild Church, I was photographing a quinceañera when a mother and daughter stopped to watch for a moment.

The young girl (African American, probably around 13–16 years old) told me the big blue quince dress was the prettiest thing she had ever seen and that blue was her favorite color 🥹
Her mom mentioned they had never seen a quinceañera photoshoot in person before, and honestly that moment stayed in my heart.

Seeing someone from another community connect with something that is such a beautiful part of Hispanic culture meant so much to me 💙

So now I want to find her and gift her a FREE quince-style photoshoot with a beautiful blue gown.

“Lo más importante es rodearte de los que te aman.”

Las bodas pequeñas e íntimas tienen algo que no se puede fingir: la emoción se siente más cerca, más real, más tuya. No hay distracciones, no hay multitudes… solo miradas cómplices, abrazos sinceros y momentos que se quedan para siempre.
Porque al final, la celebración es la misma: el amor, la unión, el “sí” que lo cambia todo.

✨ Had the pleasure of creating a video for Su Casa, an incredible nonprofit supporting Hispanic families in our community.

Last month they hosted Sabores de Su Casa — a beautiful celebration of culture, connection, and tradition. 🌎❤️ From savory bites to sweet treats, guests were able to taste flavors from across Latin America, each plate sharing a story of home.
So grateful to be part of an event that uplifts our community and honors the richness of our heritage.
